Description
The walk starts at Sibani Lodge and acontinues along a path through the bush and encounter interesting and uncommon flora & fauna, along with some game which includes warthogs, waterbuck, gemsbok and if we're lucky, Ella the giraffe. The walk ends on the hills of the Mount Savannah where a beautiful spread will be laid out for you to enjoy before taking the open game vehicle back to the lodge.
The 3.5km walk starts from Sibani Lodge and ends at the breakfast spot on the hills of Mount Savannah. The walk is easy, on a well-maintained gravel road. It's not very steep, but there are a few downhill bits where you need to make sure your 'human brakes' are working.
We will encounter many different shrubs and plants and we will tell you their special stories. Our personal favourite about nature walks is tracking animals by their tracks & droppings. You will be amazed by how quickly you become aware of the scents, sights & sounds of the bush.
We will also stop at two caves - we don't allow guests to enter beyond the mouth of the caves.
Upon arriving at the breakfast spot, it will be laden with a delicious breakfast consisting of coffee & tea with homemade rusks, juice, yoghurt & muesli, muffins, fresh fruits, croissants with scrambled egg & onion relish, bacon & date balls along with cold meats & cheeses.
Here, you get to relax and soak in the surroundings before the game vehicle transports you back to the lodge, via the watering hole where you will also see some wildlife.

Incredible, Hard to believe this is only 20min outside of the city. The Luxury tent experience was amazing. Highly recommend.
Booked at Sibani Hills for my birthday weekend.. I must say I was a bit sceptical as I wanted Sibani Lodge but was fully booked for the weekend but when we got there my boyfriend was really impressed with the place the view and privacy was just what we needed.. And to top it all Karin and her team went all out for my birthday with a private dinner it was really special one of my highlights for that weekend... Only suggestion I have is to maybe add a bit of variety on the Menu other then that the place is extremely beautiful, wouldn't mind coming back again... THANK YOU Karin and Team😊
Absolutely amazing experience. The tents are cosy and luxurious. The staff is so friendly and wonderful. Couldnt say better things 😊
When you go on holiday at Sibani, you are overwhelmed by the stillness and peace that the staff, the lodges, the glamping tents provide. At its heart is a deep sense of love and kindness...a sense of family where family is completely of service to have your stay be extrodinary. Do yourself a favour whether you live in South Africa or on the other side of the world....book it...its perfect for all occasions.
Fantastic setting!
Our food was delicious and we requested gluten and dairy free, there we even gluten free cookies in our room. Really impressed with this lodge. Our game drive was out of this world, our game driver was fantastic he spoke afrikaans and told us all about the farm. The animals are exotic and really well looked after. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms have the most beautiful views.
Highly recommended!
